Concept images reveal canned Mario Tennis character Wapeach

The designer behind the one and only Waluigi has shared some concept images of the canned Mario Tennis character Wapeach, who never saw the light of day. Fumihide Aoki set the Internet alight this afternoon with the images which haven’t been showcased before. If all went to plan, Wapeach would have starred alongside Waluigi in Mario Tennis 64, but it simply wasn’t meant to be. Check out the images in the gallery down below.

    1. Yeh same here but Nintendo fans from the 2010’s also spread a lie about a safari hunter ghost in Luigi’s Mansion that was “scrapped” but apparently that boss never existed at all. Goes to show how myths and embellishments can easily be spread in fandoms.

  1. I wonder if there are files for the actual 3D model.

The only change I would make would be the make her hair color #18ef74, since it’s the inverted color of Peach’s pink and to tone down the redundancy of blond characters.

    1. You are aware that there are adult people, that are not higher that 4 to 5 feet tall? Especially in the Asian part of the world.

  2. The katakana in the box says プリーチ or “purīchi” (Preach). Below that it says ワルピーチ or “warupīchi” (Walupeach). Personally I think Walupeach sounds a lot better than Preach or Wapeach (which isn’t even written anywhere).

  3. She’s adorbs! Maybe too adorable, though. Other than color scheme, she looks out of place when I mentally put Wario & Waluigi next to her. She doesn’t have to look ugly but… yeah.

  4. Meet the world’s most famous offline dinosaur — the star of the dino game. This charming endless runner lives inside Google Chrome, waiting to entertain whenever your connection drops. The premise is simple: jump over obstacles, survive as long as you can, and chase that elusive high score. Its retro graphics and rhythmic pace are deeply satisfying, evoking the golden age of arcade gaming. The Dino Game has inspired countless remakes, mods, and fan versions. Whether you’re killing time or mastering reflexes, it proves that even the simplest concepts can create unforgettable gaming experiences.
