Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate content roadmap unveiled

Super Evil Megacorp has laid out its master plan for the future of the Ninja Turtles as roguelike Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate celebrates one month from launch. Beyond the previously announced PC port, the developer recently shared some information on updates, new content, and other surprises for fans to look forward to.

Spread out over the rest of this year and 2025, the roadmap below outlines the post-launch support plan for the game.

First things first, an update going live “very soon” will add in crossplay between Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade, on top of fixing bugs and making stability improvements.

Now, onto the map- a PC and Steam Deck release is planned for this year, in addition to the inclusion of online matchmaking on all platforms.

Then, as we move into 2025, a new “Challenge Mode,” along with leaderboards, will be added to put players to the test.

Beyond that is where things get exciting: Super Evil Megacorp has started working on the “first DLC” for the game, an extensive expansion offering up a new story and new chapter to those who walk the path of the Ninja Turtle. For now, there’s not much to know about said DLC and how it fits into the game, but the devs confirmed that “runs will continue to be 4 chapters so you’ll have to pick your direction each run,” while drumming up intrigue by saying that “one of the Turtles’ closest allies” will be playable in the DLC.

Lastly, they teased “console expansions” as well as a possible physical release. Leaving the details a mystery, they have asked fans to “stay tuned” for more news to come.

  1. Have they said for how long TMNT Splintered Fate is a Nintendo timed console exclusive and when/if it will be available on other platforms or have a psychical release.
