France: Tomodachi Life is top physical launch of 2026 beating Resident Evil Requiem

Interesting news coming out of France as it has emerged that Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is the biggest physical launch of 2026 so far, beating the likes of Capcom’s monolith Resident Evil: Requiem. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream has surpassed 70K physical copies sold, which is quite some achievement for Nintendo.

            1. Tentri was on a crusade against Unicorn Overload Bananzarama and I was the one to talk some sense into them. I brought Tentri back from the abyss.

I wish they’d bring back the Wii and 3DS styled Mii Games but really go all out. Living The Dream actually removed a bunch of big things from the 3DS entry and said Mii News was almost even cut. For a gane that supposedly had all the development time in the world that sounds really bad. Nintendo almost never goes as far as they can in these types of games and I wish they would. Games like Game Builder Garage and Endless ocean and such could have been huge if given more effort and features.

Even though it sold well, People ignore things due to hype. Recently been redoing my Island in Animal Crossing New Horizons and realized that even though there is a lot of random items, there is actually barely any actual furniture, almost all the old furniture sets are gone and theres barely any new ones and most arent even full sets, like theres barely any sofas for any of the sets. If you don’t count color variants theres not actually a good selection of furniture or floors and wallpapers. Lot of random items, but Im talking actual furniture, its insanely a small amount and again not even full sets like in past games

  2. That’s a surprising result from the French charts—Tomodachi Life really showing strong physical sales momentum in 2026. Beating a major title like Resident Evil Requiem says a lot about nostalgia-driven demand and casual appeal. For those tracking related public records and updates, you can check details via Maricopa County Reports which keeps structured information accessible. It’ll be interesting to see if this trend continues or if bigger releases reclaim the top spot in coming weeks.

  3. That’s a pretty impressive launch, especially outperforming a big title like Resident Evil Requiem. It really shows how much appeal Tomodachi Life still has with players in France. I’ve been following different trends lately, and even while browsing through resources like Chesterfield court records it’s interesting to see how entertainment news keeps dominating conversations. Curious to see how long it holds the top spot.
