Pokemon Pokopia on the Nintendo Switch 2 has been a massive success shifting plenty of units and contributing to a boost in hardware sales figures. Today, Game Freak‘s Shigeru Ohmori has given fans a look at at an early prototype of Pokemon Pokopia. Ohmori revealed that development on the game started soon after Pokemon Scarlet and Violet wrapped up and initially there were only three people working on the project. Later this grew to five people and the idea of planting grass to spawn new types of Pokemon was born and after this Ditto was chosen as the protagonist.
