It’s turning out to be an interesting day for news today as we have learnt that SuperMetalDave64 has removed all his leaked Nintendo info videos from YouTube. His channel is still up and so is his website, but the videos containing the leaked list of Nintendo 3DS games coming and also the Zelda NX port information has completely vanished. One can only expect that Nintendo has asked for them to be taken down and removed. Guess we won’t know for sure until SuperMetalDave64 informs us of the situation.

I just made a post under the assumption that there were no NX leaks, yet I entirely forgot this story.
(or he was bluffing and removed the videos on his own, was their any evidence that the leaks were real?)
I personally think it was all bull dookey. He explained himself and the context behind all his insider info with too much detail and backstory. Something liars do quite often.
Either way rumors are better when they’re not true. I don’t want Nintendo’s plans spoiled for me. I want it all to be a surprise.
He even got the new Pokémon game codename right. You think Nintendo would demand him taking down that article if the news wasn’t legit? lol.
I was thinking he took them down himself to make it look like nintendo took them down in order to make himself more credible. But if he got the Pokemon code name right then I have to admit that there must be some validity to all of this.
I don’t agree. I think he’s very credible and he has proven that in the past with his track record of being right a lot of times. Most likely Nintendo told him to take his videos down before they take action on him. SuperMetalDave is not very popular on Youtube nor does he have a huge subscriber base and I don’t think he would purposely try to destroy his credibility and reputation with fabricated reports so Nintendo probably forced him to remove the content because the truth came out but again I could be wrong but I don’t think I am
He was someone who just made a lot of safe, almost guaranteed statements to gain “credibility” so he could make this outlandish Rainbow claim (which he damage controlled on NWR later). As soon as Nintendo/The Pokémon Company made their actual announcement, he was always planning on pulling it all down and playing the denial game.
BTW, I’m fully aware of the supposed “Niji” web address thing. Prior to today I was willing to believe in SMD64’s innocence, but now that he’s in a state of guilt in my mind I need more solid proof than a screencap that could’ve easily been shopped to redeem him.
You’d want to explain yourself in detail if you were telling the truth as well. All the facts point to him being truthful. Neogaf verification and Pokemon Niji being announced as Pokemon Sun and Moon and the Niji codename found within the source code at pokemon.com. It’s fine to want to wait for Nintendo to announce the NX but that’s no reason to call a truthful person a liar.
I follow him on YouTube. I’m not sure what to make of the videos he’s been posting. I really didn’t hear much other than Pokemon coming to 3ds and him repeatedly saying he has a source that he verified works at Nintendo.
All I really care about is what will replace the 3DS. Handhelds have always been my favorite way to game. So if the NX is part handheld I’ll be happy. That’s all I care about.
