  1. But can you switch back and forth at will, or is the choice locked to a save file or something like that?

I’m not sure I’m getting this since I have the 3DS version and am fine with it, but I’m sure they’ll never be able to top the original compositions for An Obstacle in Our Path or Mechonis Field.

        1. Engage the Enemy is my favorite track from the game followed by Mechonis Field. If I was ever gonna do a video game of my own, I’d love to use remixes of them. I also love the track that plays when you are at the capital of Mechonis’s head. That one would be my 3rd favorite. Oh who am I kidding! I love nearly every night time track, too!

          1. I would make the case that Satorl Marsh has the best night theme. One night before I moved out of the house I grew up in, I went alone to a clearing in a nearby forest preserve that had a pond and a small gazebo/deck on part of the shoreline and played it aloud. The tune, paired with the croaking of the frogs, the chirping of crickets, and occasional fish breaking the pond’s surface, made for quite an evocative experience.

  3. This game easily has one of the best soundtracks of any piece of media I’ve come across. Not exaggerating one bit.
