To say that there has been discussion about Xbox games coming to the Nintendo Switch would be a massive understatement. There has already been a history of Xbox games being released on Nintendo’s hybrid console, and there are now 4 more games that will be joining them in the future.
That said, Xbox head Phil Spencer talked about the exact opposite in an interview with journalist Stephen Totilo’s Game File newsletter. There, Spencer discussed Nintendo and PlayStation games coming to Xbox. According to Spencer, while he welcomes both of them releasing games on Xbox, he isn’t expecting it. In fact, the intention with this initiative with Xbox games isn’t for their competition to do the same thing. He said that “this is not for me, like, some kind of bartering system. We’re doing it for the better of Xbox’s business”.
Nah, he is doing this for his love for Nintendo.
If Microsoft loves Nintendo so much, why are they trying to kill them? Microsoft is the only video game company I know that wants to have its cake and eat it too. Even Sega waited until after it lost the first party race to have endless collaborations with Nintendo. Nobody likes Microsoft, they only like them because of their acquired franchises/IPs/lasagna, and even then not all of them are Xbox exclusive. Just look at Call of duty.
I didn’t say nobody likes Microsoft. I just say that one of them is doing this for their love for Nintendo. So, they might asked Nintendo if it’s ok for them to include their IP on their platform.

I mean he got fatal frame, wonderful 101 zombie.. granted they are from 3rd party studios but the IP were Nintendo’s
What? Fatal Frame was never owned by Nintendo. FF2 remake, FF4 and FF5 were co-owned, but not the IP as a whole.
Nintendo also sold TW101 back to Platinum (because, honestly, it was really crap and, even with the remaster, it sold poorly due to how crap it is). As for Zombie, pretty sure it was always Ubisoft’s.
People are delusional to think games like Mario. Zelda and Xenoblade will come to other platforms. Also people were deluded to think Starfield, the new Indiana Jones and such were coming to Playstation. Phil himself shot down these rumors.
