The Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC has launched today so naturally The Pokemon Company has updated the game bringing it to Version 2.0.0. To access the DLC, if you’ve purchased it, you need to complete the main story of Pokemon Legends Z-A then you can get right down to business. Here’s what has changed in Version 2.0.0:
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC Additional Story Content Now Available
- Players who have purchased the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC (sold separately) can now enjoy its additional story content.
- To progress through the story of the Mega Dimension DLC, you must first have completed the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
New Pokémon
- Players who have not purchased the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC can still encounter or obtain the Pokémon added to Mega Dimension via communication features.
Fixes Applied
- Several issues have been fixed.
Notes:
• In order to enjoy online play, you will need to have downloaded the latest update data.
• All players must be using the same version of the software to play together. Please make sure you have the same update version as the person you are playing with.

Dang, I haven’t completed the main story yet guess I can’t start the Mega Dimension dlc.
This all launched last night early. Fired up my game and a new mission popped up right away to go do for the start of the DLC. Been ready to start playing this.
Can someone post about the length of the DLC from start to finish. I am really wanting to know how much they put into this extra story content.
The launch of Version 2.0.0 alongside the Mega Dimension DLC is exactly the kind of update that elevates Pokémon Legends Z-A to a whole new level. With fresh story content, new Pokémon, and a batch of fixes all landing at once, the game feels more alive than ever—especially for those who’ve already cleared the main story and were itching for more. And it’s great that even players without the DLC can still encounter the newly added Pokémon through communication features, keeping the world interconnected and dynamic.
And honestly, I can’t help but get emotional here—ever since the original Pokémon Red and Green, no game had managed to surpass those masterpieces for me. But Z-A is the first one in years that truly brings that same magic back, and this DLC only amplifies all that excitement.
Thanks for the detailed notes, Sickr.
