Nintendo 3DS: Awesome New Mario Kart 7 Characters Revealed

The latest edition of Nintendo Power reveals a few additional characters for Mario Kart 7. We already know about a couple of them but it looks as though Nintendo has included Wriggler and Honey Queen to the line-up. I had the fortune to play the game a few weeks back and I can safely say it’s shaping up to be something quite special.

US gaming publication Nintendo Power has printed its readers most wanted games for the three Nintendo platforms. Unsurprisingly The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is top for Wii whilst Mario Kart 7 zooms to the top spot for the Nintendo 3DS. Do you agree with the readers choices?

Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo Power Confirms Sonic Generations For Nintendo 3DS

We all knew it was coming and now Nintendo Power has officially confirmed it; Sonic Generations is heading to the Nintendo 3DS sometime later this year. The game is set to be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo 3DS. Sadly Sega has neglected the Nintendo Wii this time around for undisclosed reasons. Maybe we should hold out hope for a new and improved version to be released next year for Nintendo’s Project Cafe.

Nintendo Wii: New Mario Wii Game To Be Unveiled By Nintendo Power?

Nintendo Power have informed their readers that they are set to provide the world exclusive reveal of a new Mario title for the Nintendo Wii.

The text can be found in the current issue of Nintendo Power and was accompanied by a large image of Mario. Speculation is rife, with the majority believing it will be another addition to the popular Mario Party series.

Nintendo: New Nintendo Suprises In Nintendo Power?

US gaming publication, Nintendo Power, may be set to unveil a new exclusive Nintendo title if the current issue is to be believed.

“In the wake of this year’s fantastic E3, we’ll take a closer look at some of the big Wii and DS titles slated for the rest of 2009. That includes an in-depth investigation of the long-awaited Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. We’ll also review Wii Sports Resort and maybe even unveil a couple of cool surprises. Not every cat was let out of the bag at E3.”

Nintendo Wii: New Zelda Game Isn’t Radically Different

Revered game designer, Shigeru Miyamoto, claims the next addition to the Zelda franchise won’t be radically different from previous incarnations.

Speaking to gaming publication Nintendo Power, legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto gave a tantalizing glimpse into the development of the next Zelda title. Whilst many where expecting a radically different direction for the next instalment of the Zelda franchise, Miyamoto claims there won’t be too many shocking new changes.

Nintendo Wii: Kingdom Hearts Series Could Come To Wii

Rumour and speculation has blighted the Kingdom Hearts franchise on Wii, but could it finally be coming?

Tetsuya Nomura, the creator behind Kingdom Hearts, recently sat down with Nintendo Power to discuss the possibility of the much-loved franchise coming to Wii. Whilst Nomura is an extremely busy man he did state that “Once the projects I am involved with have settled to a point, there might be some room to consider that.”
