Witcher 3’s new DLC Songs of Past officially coming 2027 but not coming to Switch

The team at CD Projekt Red have finally announced the long-rumoured The Witcher 3 DLC and it is officially titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past. The downloadable content is a joint collaboration between CD Projekt Red and Fools Theory. The DLC is sadly not coming to the Nintendo Switch, but is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. CD Projekt Red says it will share more information about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past in the late summer.

Medallion’s humming… that can only mean one thing! It’s time to announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past! This brand new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take you to the Path with Geralt of Rivia once more. It’s being co-developed with @Fools_Theory and is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in 2027. Stay tuned for more information in late summer.

  1. It’s pretty much a done deal this is getting a Switch 2 Edition with the DLC later on down the road, I suppose

    1. It is obviously planned, but they may have made zero progress on its implementation so far so it doesn’t make sense to announce something not actively in development. People get mad when things are announced and then don’t released for a long time, and then people get mad when things aren’t announced at all, can never please everyone
