Rayman Origins Demo Back On Nintendo eShop For 3DS

Although it has suffered multiple delays, Rayman Origins is still coming to Nintendo 3DS. The demo of the game, which was available for download earlier this year, is now back in the Nintendo eShop. The demo includes three levels from the full game, including Swinging Caves, Playing in the Shade, and Shooting Me Softly. The Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins is supposed to be launching in North America on November 6th.

    1. At this point I don’t care about this game anymore. The demo feels like a cheap 3DS port. I had more fun playing NSMB2. And that game wasn’t even one Mario’s best platformers.

  1. Please just let it die… I had fun with the console version but there is no way that this game will do well. It’s been way too long since this game first came out.

    1. Yup, my GameStop has already confirmed there will be no midnight launch. I don’t like staying up so late to get anything…especially at that time of the night. Guess I’m different when it comes to waiting in line for something like that (I just don’t feel comfortable in situations like that). It’s different if it is in the form of an actual launch party though! :D

Guess I look at these things a bit differently since the GameStop I do business at is in the mall. The mall opens at 11 AM, but the GameStop employees let me come through a back entrance into the store at about 8 AM. I was the first to buy my Nintendo 3DS at that GameStop and the same will be for the Wii U as well! ^_^

It just helps me guarantee that “first” spot. It doesn’t matter if I don’t get that spot much, but there is something magical about getting that morning rush feeling, driving over to the mall early, and making a call to the store when one of the employees are in to go through a “secret” entrance into the mall and pick up the Wii U. It’s just simply marvelous. lol

Already got my Wii U launch week planned out. Doing all homework due for my college classes the same week in advance, cleaning up and organizing the spot next to my TV where the Wii U will be the day before, going to bed early to wake up at 5 or 6 AM and exercise very early in the morning, quick bath, driving to the mall, going through the secret entryway in, mushing my face on the GameStop window and breathing heavily to fog up the glass (just for the lulz), pick up my Wii U and New Super Mario Bros. U along with it, breathe in, drive back home, put the car in park in the driveway, breathe out, stare at my Wii U box, strapped in the seat, pick it up before getting out, kiss it, go to my front door, unlock, open, close behind me, hug my Wii U, go upstairs to my room, open my door, close it behind me with a Do Not Disturb sign on the doorknob, and, at last, become one with my Wii U… <3

  2. I want this version, i prefer platformers on portables, also, this one feels kinda ”old-school” compared to the other versions, and i like that ^^

  3. On a related but slightly off topic note, I played Rayman Legends at Target and I was extremely impressed.

    Expectations met.

  4. i Live in Australia, have been playing it for a couple of weeks now. It is now my favourite game on the 3ds. Everyone who owns a 3ds should get it. I say its a lot more fun than Mario. Bloody awesome game. So stop complaining and experience it. Its heaps of fun.

  5. oh and Frog, i agree, i played the demo and didn’t really dig it that much/ but the demo doesn’t do the game justice at all. The full game’s so much better than the demo!

  6. Did anyone else see a difference between this demo and the previous one, like the sound quality or menu preview image? Or am I fooling myself?
