A study from Playr2.com shows that the majority of gamers are not interested in 3D gaming. 44% of gamers out of the 1,001 surveyed believed that 3D gaming is completely unnecessary, while 28% of them were ‘unimpressed’ while playing the 3DS. A solid 22% stated that 3D simply hindered the gaming experience. Are you impressed with 3D?

Nintendo of America has posted an official translation of Shigeru Miyamoto’s The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword presentation from this years Tokyo Games Show. Miyamoto claims in the video that he ”can’t imagine controlling a sword with buttons” anymore.

Nintendo has released some brand new trailers for the forthcoming Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The new videos feature Link learning how to use his sword and Link getting romantic with Zelda. The game is released November 18th in Europe and November 20th in the United States.
Nintendo Wii U: Former Guitar Hero Developer Is Working On A New Wii U Game
Former Guitar Hero developer Vicarious Visions is working on a new unannounced Wii U game according to one of the developers CV. According to Gamespot the company has three games in the works, Project Atlantis is listed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Project Phoenix for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii and Project Nova for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
Nintendo Wii: Nintendo Provides More Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword Details
Nintendo America issued a press release earlier that provides us with more information on the forthcoming Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Some of you may wish to look away as some of the information could be considered spoilers. Enjoy!
- Introduction: The new game’s storyline begins in Skyloft, an island town suspended high in the sky, on the day before young Link™ is to compete in a major bird-flying competition. The winner of the contest will earn the honor of taking part in a special ceremony with Zelda™.
- Link and Zelda: Friends since childhood, Link and Zelda have always shared a special bond. Events in the new game will add even more depth to their relationship.
- Groose: Link’s nemesis at school, Groose, plays a significant role in the early moments of the new game. This bully of a character not only threatens Link’s chances to win the bird-flying competition, but he also reveals a jealous streak toward Link and Zelda’s special bond.
- Fi: Early on in Link’s new adventure, he encounters Fi, the spirit of the powerful Goddess Sword. Fi’s guidance proves to be crucial as Link goes forth on a challenging quest that will ultimately result in the creation of the Master Sword.
- Zelda’s father: Gaepora, Zelda’s father, is the headmaster of Link’s school. As such, he has knowledge of the history and legends of Skyloft.

Nintendo of America has issued a press release stating that both The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords and Super Mario Land 2 6 Golden Coins are available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords is absolutely free for Nintendo 3DS and DSi owners whilst Super Mario Land 2 6 Golden Coins is a paid download.

UK gaming publication NGamer is convinced that the forthcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii is the hardest Zelda yet. Whether it is actually more challenging than previous titles remains to be seen, but we should find out November 18th in Europe and November 20th in the United States.
Nintendo 3DS: Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 Coming To Nintendo 3DS eShop
Nintendo has filed an Australian ratings board listing for Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. The game will eventually come to the Nintendo 3DS eShop but Nintendo themselves have yet to officially announce a date for the game. Hopefully we will hear something soon!
